What to Expect During a Sculptra BBL

Upon arrival at our facilities for Sculptra BBL, we have our patients change into a robe. Then, we measure treatment areas, mark them, clean them, and photograph prior to procedures to track progress throughout. 

As a non-surgical procedure, patients remain awake during Sculptra BBL procedures. However, patients are comfortable during their procedure and won’t experience pain — we may numb the area of the procedure with a local anesthetic or lidocaine solution and can be done in about an hour.

Swelling and tenderness are common for most patients for 2-3 days. Small bruising may occur around injection sites. This treatment will help to jumpstart the body’s natural collagen production to re-volumize the booty.

A Sculptra BBL is a minimally-invasive alternative to a traditional Brazilian Butt Lift procedure.   • Apply ice to the area to help with swelling and tenderness. Take Tylenol as directed to minimize discomfort. For five days following the procedure, you should massage the injected area at least five times a day for five minutes for the best results. This helps ensure that the Sculptra particles distributed evenly and the best results are achieved. Avoid strenuous activity or exercise for at least 24 hours to reduce bruising.
